“By Love Serve One Another”

Founded in the year 1998 on April 29, the YWCA of Marthandam is situated in the picturesque town of Marthandam, on the banks of the Thamirabarani River in Kanyakumari District. It is a Christian organization which aims to advance the physical, moral and spiritual interests of young women. The YWCA of Marthandam works for the empowerment, leadership and rights of women by creating awareness on women’s rights, social and mental health issues, and by imparting life skills training to women and girls. Our projects included a day care center, a tailoring unit,holiday camps for children, a working women’s hostel and a counselling centre.
